Selecting the right PVshelter?
When installing solar energy systems, proper housing of the inverter is crucial for both performance and safety. Conduct offers a range of PVshelter solutions tailored to standard inverter dimensions and required ventilation clearance. We are happy to assist you in selecting the right PVshelter: this overview shows which PVshelter type is best suited for your application.
Inverters up to 30 kW
For inverters with a mounting width of up to 75 cm, we recommend the PVshelter B2B 150 (mini) (article number: PVS200319-19-NA). This compact solution is suitable for small inverters and allows for back-to-back mounting, which is ideal when installation space is limited.
Inverters from 30 kW to 60 kW
For inverters with a mounting width of up to 100 cm, the following PVshelter models are applicable:
These shelters are designed for mid-sized inverters and offer ample space for ventilation and cabling.
Inverters above 60 kW
For larger systems with inverters up to 150 cm wide, we recommend our PVshelter Type 150 range. This includes:
These robust shelters are ideal for large-scale PV installations and ensure a safe and durable mounting solution.
Angled mounting
If a fixed mounting angle of 17° is permitted, the Angled PVshelter (article number: PVS200319-12-NA) is a suitable choice. This shelter supports inverters up to 130 cm wide and offers advantages such as improved ventilation, compact dimensions and efficient cable routing thanks to its integration with the RoofSupport system. (Note: not every inverter is suitable for angled mounting! Please consult the manufacturer’s technical documentation.)
