The FireRaptor is not only operated manually, but also offers two different types of automatic shutdown:
- Automatic emergency temperature shutdown, where the temperature monitor on board the FireRaptor automatically shuts down the panels if the temperature underneath the panels exceeds 85°C.
- Automatic Emergency Power Loss Shutdown, disconnection of the external AC supply, by whatever means, causes automatic remote operation of the Emergency Rapid Shutdown Switch and solar panel shutdown.

The emergency switch has a built-in power supply and is available in both standard emergency and key operation and now has an optional fire monitoring and integration function that can provide both alarm signals and mobile communication alarms.

Because the function is completely independent, FireRaptor is compatible with any string inverter and complies with US NEC2017, and has also obtained cULus and FCC certification. In addition, the FireRaptor comes with the unique 20-year manufacturer’s warranty.
