Why install a home battery outside?
A home battery needs a suitable location. Not every home has enough space for one. Perhaps you would rather not have the technical installation in the utility room, garage or attic. Or perhaps you simply want to use the available indoor space for other purposes.
Conduct has developed the right solution for this.
The Batteryshelter has been developed to provide a suitable solution. It gives the home battery its own place outside the home, in an enclosure designed specifically for this application.
This means energy storage does not have to take up valuable space inside your home.
A home battery is becoming increasingly relevant
Solar panels produce the most electricity when the sun is shining. That is not always when you use the most energy at home. A home battery can temporarily store generated electricity so that it can be used at another time.
In addition, the Dutch energy system is changing. From 1 January 2027, the net metering scheme will end. As a result, it is becoming increasingly attractive for households with solar panels to consider how they can use as much of their self-generated electricity as possible, either immediately or at a later time.
