Conduct introduces new roof support RoofBlock XL

Conduct Technical Solutions introduces the new RoofBlock XL roof support.

Saving both time and money on your solar project sounds ideal. But how can you actually achieve this? It remains a recurring challenge. That’s why Conduct is introducing its latest sustainable innovation in roof supports: RoofBlock XL. Designed with the installer in mind, the RoofBlock XL includes several features that significantly reduce installation time.

The RoofBlock XL weighs 3.5 kg per unit and is 26 cm wide, making it even more stable and eliminating the need for attachment to the roof surface. It contains no plasticisers that could damage roofing membranes. There is ample space for 2 × 100 mm wire mesh cable trays or for 200 mm (or wider) wire mesh cable trays. The RoofSupport wire mesh cable tray can be easily clicked into place on the roof support. In addition, the RoofBlock XL rises 10 cm above the rainwater drainage level, keeping solar cables safely out of standing water.

Thanks to the curved design of the RoofSupport wire mesh cable tray, the load capacity is high. Combined with the weight and stability of the RoofBlock XL, this allows for a greater span length and reduces the number of roof supports required per linear metre. This also means fewer materials need to be transported from A to B. As a result, the ecological footprint is reduced and transport costs are minimised.

“The RoofBlock XL is designed with the customer’s proposition in mind and enables installers to complete installations easily and safely, while achieving the highest possible quality,” says Pieter Kremer, Managing Director of Conduct Technical Solutions.

The RoofBlock XL is available from your local electrical wholesaler. For more information, view the product page or feel free to call us.
