Due to the increase in large-scale PV installations, the associated inverters are also becoming more powerful. This means that the size and weight of the inverters are increasing, and maximum ventilation is a requirement! As a result, placing inverters outside – under a shelter – is the ideal location.

For PVshelter High Energy, we have implemented the following enhancements:

  • Ease of Installation: The easily removable roof simplifies the installation of heavy inverters onto the PVshelter. The mounting rails are pre-installed at the correct mounting distance. Additionally, the optimal positioning of the inverter relative to the roof and roof surface has been determined.
  • Maximum Capacity on Minimal Roof Surface: Thanks to the reinforced PVshelter High Energy construction, Back2Back mounting of heavier inverters is possible (e.g., SMA Tripower CORE2).
  • Improved Accessibility for Cable Infrastructure: The externally positioned double bracing profiles allow for the installation of wide RoofSupport wire mesh cable trays. This improves the routing of DC cabling and AC cables up to 240mm².
