PVSHELTER

Inverter frame

For every solar project

PVshelter

PVshelter offers several advantages: it protects the inverter from environmental influences, increases fire safety and is wind-certified. The design is a construction that, as a basic set, is composed of a bottom framework, a mounting frame and is equipped with a roof.

The design saves space, maximises ventilation possibilities and prevents noise pollution.

Easy to expand and combine with RoofSupport wire tray for a complete solution. The inverter mounting frame features ConStrut® Magnelis® steel. The PVshelter is equipped with roof supports made of recycled rubber. As a result, it contributes to a reduced CO₂-footprint.

Why PVshelter?

  • Reduced CO₂-footprint: made from high-quality Magnelis® steel, contributing to a reduced CO₂ footprint.
  • Wind certified: wind certified by Peutz.
  • Contributes to fire-safe installation: by positioning the inverter on the roof, dangerous DC voltage is safely kept outside.
  • Optimal ventilation: maximum ventilation opportunities due to the inverter being installed on the roof.
  • Minimises noise nuisance: any noise or mechanical vibrations are absorbed by the rubber roof supports, protecting the roof structure.
  • Space-saving: save valuable space with the special design.
  • Improved inspection capabilities: easier to inspect and maintain due to improved access and visibility.
  • Easily combinable with RoofSupport: easily combined with RoofSupport cable tray for a complete solution.
  • Modular expansion: modular expansion options.
  • Weather-resistant roof: the canopy offers protection against direct sunlight and rain.

Magnelis® Steel

All Conduct PVshelters are made with Magnelis® steel. This coating, consisting of zinc, 3.5% aluminium, and 3% magnesium, provides excellent protection in extreme conditions. Magnelis® steel is also more environmentally friendly because it contains less zinc, reducing the amount that can leach into the soil through rainwater. It offers exceptional corrosion resistance and has self-healing properties. Magnelis® steel contributes to a lower CO² footprint, thanks to a cleaner production process.

Wind certified

Based on TNO guidelines, the PVshelter platform is wind-certified. In addition, the PVshelter models developed by Conduct have successfully withstood simulated hurricane-force winds in the Peutz wind tunnel. Furthermore, these certifications confirm the high quality of the systems, which have been installed across Europe. As a result, installers and end-users can be confident that these systems will perform exceptionally well, even during the most severe storms. Read more about the wind certificate.

ConStrut® material

The frame and mounting rail of the PVshelter are made from ConStrut® material. The roof of the PVshelter consists of Magnelis® steel. By using ConStrut® and applying the correct installation methods, installers can ensure that their PV installations perform optimally for many years. ConStrut® provides enhanced corrosion resistance based on strut profiles executed in Magnelis®. Due to the lower environmental impact of the production process of Magnelis®, it contributes to a reduced CO₂ footprint. This profile can be used for various applications. PVshelter Platform

Are you dealing with a maximum roof load? Then the Platform is the solution. When installing a solar power system on rooftops, it is essential that a structural engineer assesses the roof load capacity. This ensures that the maximum roof load is not exceeded after installation. If the permissible roof load is low, a customised mounting frame structure is the solution. In that case, the PVshelter platform utilises precise calculations to achieve an extremely low roof load, making it easy to install inverters on the roof. Read more about the PVshelter Platform.

PVshelter Partly Assembled

All PVshelter models are also available as a Partly-Assembled version. This version has been developed for projects where speed, flexibility, and logistics are key. This variant is delivered partially pre-assembled on wooden pallets, including a clear assembly manual. This saves time on site while maintaining control over transport and storage. Thanks to the smart balance between pre-assembled components and compact delivery, this variant is ideal for distributors and installers who want to work efficiently without compromising on quality and safety.
