Flat roof installations
More and more commercial and industrial buildings are being equipped with PV installations to generate (part of) their own energy. For these applications, flat roofs with a flat roof installation are particularly suitable. NEN1010:2020 requires that cabling is routed in a conduit or cable tray. In this case, a wire mesh cable tray is preferred, as condensation water must be drained in a conduit (Article 522.3.2). An open cable tray also prevents heat build-up and water accumulation.
RoofSupport cable management
Conduct developed RoofSupport specifically for flat roof installations. This system ensures safe cable management and consists of:
- RoofSupport wire mesh cable trays manufactured from steel with an EZ1000 surface treatment.
- Couplings and end caps.
- RoofBlock or RoofBlockXL roof supports.
Key benefits of the RoofSupport system
- Less material: The curved design requires fewer roof supports.
- Efficient installation: Quick to install without tools (click-and-go).
- Fire safety: Complies with NEN1010:2020 and can be applied as fire-retardant.
- Wind certified: Tested and approved in the Peutz wind tunnel.
